Is the private rafting section on the Soča River longer?
NO The private rafting section is not longer than the group rafting section. Both tours typically cover the classic 7-kilometer route from near Boka Waterfall (or Srpenica during lower water levels) to Trnovo ob Soči, lasting about 1h 20 min on the water. The key differences lie in group size, scheduling flexibility, and personalized attention, not the route length.
Can we choose the departure time?
YES, FOR PRIVATE TOURS Private rafting tours let you choose any hour that suits your crew’s vibe—though we recommend 10.30 or 14.30 when the river is quieter, with fewer boats out, as most companies schedule departures outside these times. Group rafting tours stick to set slots at 9.30, 13.00, or 16.00, keeping the lively energy high and organized!
Can we be alone in a boat on a group rafting tour?
YES, IF YOUR GROUP IS EXACTLY 8 PEOPLE
You can have a boat to yourselves on a group rafting tour if you bring 7 people with you. Otherwise, you’ll be joined by other rafters to fill the boat. If you’re dreaming of an exclusive experience with just your crew, private rafting ensures your pack has the entire raft and a dedicated guide, crafting a personalized journey tailored to your vibe!
What is the difference in price?
Group rafting with costs 60€–65€ per person, covering the 7-km trip, professional guide, equipment (wetsuit, helmet, life jacket, paddle), and transfers to/from the river. Private rafting, perfect for your exclusive crew, is 420€ per group of 1–4 people or 700€ per group of 5–8 people, including all group tour perks plus towels for added comfort. Group tours offer a budget-friendly, social vibe, while private tours deliver a premium, tailored experience for your pack!

Are photos and videos included in the price?
YES Awesome news! Showing your photos to all your friends and family once you come back home is of outmost importance. That’s why all our water tours include some 50 photos and 5+ short video clips for free with both group and private rafting tours. The photos are captured by your guide’s GoPro, uploaded to a Google Photos cloud gallery, and emailed to you within 24 hours. No need to risk losing your phone on the Soča River—we’ve got your memories covered at no extra cost!
