But, if your wish-list is longer you just email us all the activities you’d like to do and we’ll prepare a program for you. Just don’t plan more than 2 activities in one day.

Booking a tour in advance is always a good idea. You don’t want to spoil your day with complications like “sorry, but we’re completely full today”. Besides it’s good that we know you’re coming. So we can organize our team, polish the boats, make sure our guides are shaved and gear room smells of fresh roses.

DON’T FORGET TO BRING

• towels
• swimsuits (best if you wear them under your clothes)
• extra pair of underwear because your swimsuits will be wet
• plastic bottle of water (0.5l per person should be enough)
• ponytail elastic if your hair is long

COME TO BOVEC

Our sports center is located in Bovec. We have a big private parking lot where you can park your car. There are also toilets, showers, lockers and changing cabins here. Not to mention the chill-out area with free WiFi.

CHECK-IN AT OUR OFFICE

First we will need you to sign a declaration of awareness. Please note that we can’t take on rafting trip people who are

• under the influence of alcohol and drugs
• pregnant
• physically or mentally disabled
• blind (you have to be able to see at least something)

Then we will kindly ask you to pay 🙂 You can pay in Euro or by credit card. VISA, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express are all accepted.

MEET YOUR GUIDES

They will explain the details about the trip and hand you all the equipment you need.
In our gear room you will get

• neoprene suit
• neoprene jacket
• harness
• helmet
• neoprene shoes

GETTING TO THE SUŠEC CANYON

There’s a big parking in front of the Bovec Rafting Team sports center. There you will leave your car. You won’t need it until the end of your rafting trip. We will take you to the starting point in the Sušec canyon and then back to Bovec with our vans and buses.

BEFORE YOU ENTER THE CANYON

You will change to neoprene suits, put on neoprene shoes and harnesses. You will leave your clothes and towels in our van or bus. Then follows a 30 minutes long walk to the starting point. We all hate this part of the tour but it’s worth the award. Just before you start with crazy sliding down the waterfalls the guide will also explain the basic of whitewater safety and show you what the harness is for.

FUN IN THE CANYON

Sušec canyoning is a big pack of fun. At first it looks like it’s gonna be a lot of walking down the stream. But, then you get to slide your first waterfall. And another one. And jump of some high rocks. Don’t worry about the heights – the first waterfalls are lower and then they get higher and higher. By the time you make it to the last one (11 meters high) you will be the master of the rock! The last waterfall is too high to slide so the guide will attach the rope to your harness and led you down to the safe ground.

WHEN OUT OF THE CANYON

Take another look back to the last waterfall. Relax for a minute and enjoy the moment of your glory.
Then get rid of those nasty wet neoprene. The vans will already be there with your dry clothes. When you’re ready we’ll drive you back to our sports center.

GET PHOTOS AND VIDEOS FROM YOUR CANYONING TOUR

Your guide will take his GoPro camera on the river. After the trip we will send you all the photos and videos from the trip for free. So, stop at our office and leave your e-mail. We will send you a link as soon as photos and videos are uploaded to a cloud gallery.
