SWIMMING SUITS, TOWELS AND EXTRA UNDERWEAR

All your friends need to pack are swimming suits, towels, and a set of dry clothes for afterward. Just don’t forget to bring extra underwear, because your swimsuit will definitely get wet on the rapids!

To save some time at the base, we highly recommend wearing your swimsuit under your clothes when you arrive. If that is not possible, you can easily change at our sports center where we have clean changing rooms and restrooms for your comfort.

Make sure to bring a good sunscreen to protect your skin from the strong mountain sun, and pack everything neatly into a bag. Your bag will stay completely safe and dry inside our van while you are out on the river.

For valuables like keys, wallets, phones, or jewelry, we have secure private lockers right in our office. If you need glasses to see the gorgeous alpine scenery clearly, you can safely wear them on the raft with our handy glasses cords. Finally, once we return from the splash, your crew can enjoy a refreshing hot shower right at our sports center and get fully ready for the party!

AFTERNOON TOUR AT 13.00

If you are visiting Bovec for a one-day trip, the absolute best arrival time is 12:40, matching our popular 13:00 afternoon departure (we also offer tours at 9:30 and 16:00). Arriving at 12:40 gives you plenty of time to park, meet our team, and gear up without any rush.

Gearing up and the full experience takes about 3 hours in total. If you are looking for the best river conditions: May and June offer higher water levels and thrilling rapids, while September provides beautiful alpine weather and a serene atmosphere, allowing you to completely avoid the packed summer crowds of July and August.

YES, OF COURSE!

We understand how incredibly important this milestone is for a young bride-to-be. It is a massive honor for our team to be trusted as part of her official wedding squad. We want her to feel absolutely unique, and we love ensuring that everyone immediately recognizes the queen of the raft in all our group photos!

She is more than welcome to wear fun bachelorette accessories on the water, such as a short bridal veil or funny sunglasses.

However, please keep in mind that a standard safety helmet must be worn over her hair during the actual rapid float. For this reason, big tiaras or long, flowing veils simply will not work due to strict safety hazards. We also strongly advise leaving expensive jewelry or items with high sentimental value locked safely at our base. Losing or breaking a precious family jewlery on the rapids somewhere in the Triglav National Park is definitely not worth ruining her special day!

Sorry, ladies, no phones on the Soča River. Lifejackets and wetsuits have no pockets, and you’ll need both hands to paddle. Phones don’t like water anyway.

But don’t worry—our guides use GoPros to snap all the photos you want. After the trip, we upload them to an online gallery and email you a link the same day. The link works until January 1 next year, so you can flood your Insta and relive the adventure!

Just a few steps from the main town square you will find Martinov Hram, a charming, traditional restaurant with a long family history. They feature a huge, gorgeous terrace with beautiful summer shade under natural grapevines, making it the perfect setting for a bachelorette evening. Their diverse menu offers something for everyone, including rich meat dishes, fresh fish, delicious vegetarian options, and light, refreshing summer salads.

For an extra gourmet pro tip, meat lovers in your squad absolutely must try their exquisite roasted lamb—it is a true local masterpiece! And for the ultimate river-to-table treat, their traditional trout coated in corn flour and fried to perfection is a light, fresh specialty that will have the entire crew licking their fingers.

We do not require any upfront online deposits or credit card pre-authorizations for our rafting trips. You will pay directly at our office right before heading out to the river.
