When planning your summer break in Bovec, you should add zipline to your wish list. But, the eternal problem of outdoor sports activities is usually the fact that the youngest members of the family are too young.

So to save you some drama, here’s a list of activities with the minimum ages.

IS ZIPLINE TOO ROUGH FOR MY CHILD?

NO

Zipline might look a bit scary at the beginning but it’s a very safe and fun activity. Age restrictions are in place for safety, as harnesses aren’t designed for small children.

If your child is too light, they’ll go with a guide or in tandem with you for added weight and momentum. Guides will demonstrate how to position yourself on the wire and stop safely at the end. With this knowledge, you and your little ones will soar through the air with confidence.

However, it’s important to note that ziplining isn’t suitable for those afraid of heights. If your child falls into this category, it’s best not to push them—they’ll only dislike the experience, and you won’t enjoy it either.

CAN I GO WITH MY CHILD ON A STEEL WIRE?

YES

The guides will decide whether it’s necessary for your child to tandem or go solo. As mentioned earlier, children who are too light can’t zip on their own, lacking the momentum to cross. In such cases, they’ll tandem with you or a guide. However, if your child meets the weight requirement, there’s no need for joint rides; let them take flight solo.

If you are still worried, talk to your guides. They are there to help you. Share your concerns, and together, you can find a solution.

WILL ALL OUR FAMILY BE TOGETHER?

YES

Of course. We keep families together; there’s no splitting up. However, for very large families with 10 children or more, we stick to a 10 people per 2 guides ratio.

But hey, if your family just had a drag-out disagreement and you need some space, no worries! Just give us a heads-up, and we’ll arrange a peaceful separation faster than you can say “family feud.” Peace and harmony, guaranteed!

CAN YOU ARRANGE A BABYSITTER?

YES

Are your children younger than 9 years old? Maybe they simply don’t want to go on zipline? Yet you really want to go on zipline? Say no more.

There is a possibility to arrange a babysitter but you have to tell us in advance. Last minute desperate phone call will let you in a disappointment as babysitters in Bovec are as rare as unicorns.
