Is zipline exciting for teenagers?

Anyone who has ever traveled with a 16-year-old knows that a teen can make or break a vacation for the entire family.

Your youngster might be very excited when it comes to bonding with a skateboarding super master neighbor, this very cool guy who runs a downtown tattoo saloon, or an activist for Save Pacific Ocean Unicorn Fish who lives in a hippie van. But bonding with his mom and dad while playing card games somewhere in the mountains of Slovenia… well, it’s not exactly his cup of tea.

So, how can a teenager survive a family holiday, leaving all his ‘Livin La Vida Loca’ friends at home?
Book a zipline adventure. Give him some serious adrenaline rush and something to show off in front of his friends!

WILL MY TEENAGER HAVE FUN ON A ZIPLINE TOUR?

We can assure you that ziplining is one of those activities that is perfect for both teenagers and parents alike. Flying through the air is exciting without being an overly intense adrenaline heart attack event. Physically, it’s not overly demanding, so you won’t be completely exhausted by the end of the day. So, it’s safe to say that yes – zipline is exciting for teenagers.  Besides, our guides are a cool bunch of colorful characters. Not living in hippie vans, but with interesting life styles and tattoos.

DO WE GET PHOTOS FROM THE TOUR?

NO
Unlike other activities that we offer, ziplining doesn’t include photos and videos as it is operated by another company that doesn’t provide such materials. But fear not, all is not lost. You can take your phones with you to capture the adventure.

Of course, you won’t be able to snap shots while in the air since both hands are needed for safety. Instead, designate your hormonal teenager as the family photographer. Just don’t forget to take some shots of him flying on the metal wire high above the valley. You don’t want to listen to their complains about how you forgot to take photos of them on zipline for the rest of your holiday.

CAN MY UNDERAGE TEEN GO ON ZIPLINE TOUR WITHOUT ME?

YES, IF OLDER THAN 15Y
Maybe your teenager wants to join us for zipline and is really looking forward to it. But you’re not so sure yourself.

Underage children (under 18 years in Slovenia) should be accompanied by an adult. However, for children older than 15 years you can sign an agreement at our office before the trip. But please contact us by email before you come.

WHAT IF MY TEENAGER DOESN’T WANT TO JOIN US ON ZIPLINE TOUR?

NO PROBLEM
Perhaps your child is old enough, but experiencing an identity crisis and, a priori, does not participate in anything that smells of parents.

Well, just leave him at our sports center. There’s lots of dirty smelly neoprenes that need to be washed and volunteers are very welcome. Hahaha…joke. No, no seriously – the entire area of our sports center is covered by wireless internet access. No extra charge. That should keep him busy for the next 3 hours.

WHAT OTHER ACTIVITIES MIGHT BE GREAT FOR TEENAGERS?

CANYONING – Teenagers love canyoning. Canyoning is jumping and sliding down the waterfalls at its best. Lots of excitement and lots of fun!

RAFTING – Rafting is also good alternative if you are not too big outdoor sports enthusiast but would still love to experience the rapids of the Soča river.
