And find perfect activities for you. Private rafting will take about 3 hours of your time so you can add another activity on the same day. But, if your wish-list is longer you just email us all the activities you’d like to do and we’ll prepare a program for you. Just don’t plan more than 2 activities in one day.

You need to book private rafting tour at least 5 days in advance. Let us know what departure hour would be best for you. Then we will make sure we have a guide, driver and van ready for you.

CANCELATION POLICY

All private tours booked for more that 8 people must be paid in full via bank transfer at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time. This ensures the reservation of resources, including guides, equipment, and transportation, based on the booked group size and itinerary.

Refunds for private tours are issued only in the event of cancellations initiated by Bovec Rafting Team due to natural causes, such as extreme weather, high water levels, or other environmental conditions deemed unsafe for the tour. No refunds will be provided for cancellations or changes initiated by the client, including but not limited to reduced group size, no-shows, or last-minute itinerary changes, as resources are reserved and costs are incurred based on the original booking. Clients are required to notify Bovec Rafting Team of any changes to group size or itinerary at least 48 hours in advance to avoid additional charges or service disruptions.

DON’T FORGET TO BRING

• swimsuits (best if you wear them under your clothes)
• extra pair of underwear because your swimsuits will be wet
• ponytail elastic if your hair is long

COME TO BOVEC

Our sports center is located in Bovec. We have a big private parking lot where you can park your car. There are also toilets, showers, lockers and changing cabins here. Not to mention the chill-out area with free WiFi.

CHECK-IN AT OUR OFFICE

First we will need you to sign a declaration of awareness. Please note that we can’t take on rafting trip people who are

• under the influence of alcohol and drugs
• pregnant
• physically or mentally disabled
• blind (you have to be able to see at least something)

Then we will kindly ask you to pay 🙂 You can pay in Euro or by credit card. VISA, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express are all accepted.

MEET YOUR GUIDES

They will explain the details about the trip and hand you all the equipment you need.
In our gear room you will get

• neoprene suit
• splash jacket
• life jacket
• helmet
• neoprene shoes

GETTING ON THE SOČA RIVER

There’s a big parking in front of the Bovec Rafting Team sports center. There you will leave your car. You won’t need it until the end of your rafting trip. We will take you to the starting point on the Soča river and then back to Bovec with our vans and buses.

STILL ON SHORE

You will change to neoprene suits. Don’t worry about the silly outfit. We all look the same on the river. You will leave your clothes and towels in our van or bus. Just before you start with crazy paddling the guide will also explain the basics of whitewater safety and show you what the paddle is for.

FUN ON THE RIVER

The first part of the tour is more calm and slow. You will have the chance to practice paddling. On the middle the guides will stop the boats for you to jump off the rocks and swim a little. The second part of the river is then more dynamic. The rapids get up to the difficulty level III.

WHEN OUT OF THE RIVER

Help your guide carry the raft back to the parking lot. No excuse here!
The vans will already be there with your dry clothes. When you’re ready we’ll drive you back to our sports center.

GET PHOTOS AND VIDEOS FROM YOUR RAFTING TOUR

Your guide will take his GoPro camera on the river. After the trip we will send you all the photos and videos from the trip for free. So, stop at our office and leave your e-mail. We will send you a link as soon as photos and videos are uploaded to a cloud gallery.
